The YOVASO Summer Retreat that you have been invited to attend offers many unique opportunities and experiences. In addition to the educational benefits, you will be able to form new friendships and meet youth throughout Virginia. YOVASO and each sponsoring agency want to provide an atmosphere where chaperones and youth support one another with genuine respect. As a youth participant, it is your responsibility to make the trip a positive and enjoyable experience for yourself, fellow participants, and chaperones. All participants are expected to demonstrate high standards of conduct and to accept personal responsibility and consequences for their actions. You are expected to exhibit honesty, courteousness, and consideration towards others. This includes those in your groups, as well as anyone else with whom you may come into contact, such as university and retreat staff. Our goal is to make this retreat an educational, safe, and enjoyable experience for everyone.
